25th BERLIN OPEN DISC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS, JUNE 22-24 2012
New: listen to sounds from air planes (again)!
The 25th Berlin Open Disc Golf Championships 2012 will be held on June 22-24 at the Volkspark Rehberge in Berlin. As always, we are a PDGA Euro Challenge Tour Tournament (Tier B). The rules of play are the ones published by the PDGA.
This year marks the 25th Berlin Open. Because of that, there will be a few small differences this time: we will upgrade the capacity to 120 players, playing in two pools on Saturday and with golf start on Sunday. The starting fee will be 25 German Marks (or 13 Euros if prefer to pay with the new money). And there will be a special Ace Pool Competition. We will tell you more about it at a later time.

The following information was added within the last few days:
- July 10th: The tournament is over by now. Added a list of links to photos and reports (so far, I only found German reports).
- June 11th: Added Information about who starts in which pool on the players page. If you need to play in the other pool (e.g. because you share a car with other players), please let us know until June 17th!
- May 22nd: A Danish fan created a facebook event about the tournament: http://www.facebook.com/events/146176735506861/
- May 8th: We worked hard to bring back a traditional element of the Berlin Open tournament: listen to the sound of air planes landing and taking off at Tegel airport!
The tournament is held at the Volkspark Rehberge, a beautiful park located about 4 km north of the center of Berlin. The location is roughly 2 km east of the Tegel airport (closes before the tournament) and 5 km north of the western part of the city center.
If you understand German (or want to use those links for a computer generated translation), you can find more information about the park from the city administration or the German Wikipedia article.
You can also take a view from above at Google maps or Bing maps.
Sadly the tournament is over now.
The results are published at the pdga results page.
